Hooray Living Lee Ann Hopkins

Lee Ann writing tryptych

Lee Ann was born in Kansas City, Missouri and has found her home in many urban centers across the U.S., including Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco and Washington DC. She has spent her career in the helping professions as attorney, clergywoman, law professor, teacher, nonprofit executive director and counselor/coach. With this bundle of diverse and deep experience she helps individuals and communities connect with their own wisdom and gifts. She reminds us that our individual and collective purpose is to love and to teach love in all of our activities.

As a person who has struggled with depression all of her life, she offers the kind of motivation and inspiration that many self-proclaimed gurus are ill-equipped to offer. She shows in her writing how to create a successful and happy life in the midst of struggle. Her vulnerability on the page gives her immense depth. Her audiences trust her to deliver thoughtful information, love, generosity and exuberance.

Lee Ann is Founder of The Hooray Daily, an online community offering bite-sized inspiration and can-do; Founder of Hooray Living, a lively offering of fearless and fabulous living materials that include video, webinars, retreats and eBooks; and, the Head Hugger of the DC Hug Mob, a DC-area group that hugs in the public square, making the world a bit brighter one hug at a time.

What Others Say

My passion is helping and sharing with others…so hearing how readers learn from my own experiences and foibles presses me to continue this path I’ve been led to follow.

  • This little gem [You Are All That] can lead you to a happy place; adopt Lee Ann Hopkins' simple but sage approach and you can stay there, too. An easy way to apply all the new neuroscience learning towards a more healthy happy outlook on life and yourself.

  • Absolute brilliance in a "bite size" gift! I've spent the last 25 years studying positive people and personal development teachers but this small, heart felt book is like a straight flying arrow hitting the bulls eye of your soul. This is the best gift you can give yourself, loved ones and family anytime of the year!

  • Just got "You Are All That" . Now it's a question of devouring it all at once or slowing down to savor each morsel......Hmmmm I know for me slowing down is a good way to go...... hmmmmmm

  • Throughout my many years of studying personal development, I have never read words that popped off the page with such enthusiasm, conviction and compassion!  Way to get-up-and-go Ms. Hopkins!  Congratulations!
